The need

Thousands of students in sub-Saharan Africa don’t have access to school supplies and textbooks. Providing one textbook to every student in a classroom increases literacy scores 5-20 percent (Michaelowa and Wechtler (2006). Without the necessary school supplies, bright young minds lack the quality of education that they need to thrive academically.  Too many young people with high potential turn to destructive rather than constructive paths for themselves and their community.   

Often both teachers and children are discouraged to continue because they do not see the positive outcome. A few have managed to excel but many still need help to continue pursuing education and that is why TOUCEO wants to provide educational resources through its community hub projects where libraries will be built and stocked with books for both teachers and the students

Our Solution

When struggling schools work hard with what little is available to them, we step in to help. By offering basic tools of education to schools, we improve access to quality education for the underprivileged future leaders.

TOUCEO is creating simple premise that creates conduit to source school supplies through generous donations and distributing these materials directly to our community hubs in the community in the greatest need. This would have a substantial and sustainable impact on the students.
